From 2004 until 2008, Irakli studied Computers Aided Design Systems in Construction at the Georgian Technical University. In 2019, Irakli received a master’s degree in Business Administration from the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs.

Irakli’s 15 years’ worth of work experience is strongly tied to civil engineering. From 2007 until 2011 he worked in a construction company “Iberia” as a structural engineer. Afterward, Irakli worked in a German company Weinor as an engineer and a consultant in engineering matters for English-speaking clients coming from east-European and Scandinavian countries.

In 2012-2013, Irakli went through two training conducted at the headquarters of Weinor courses in the city of Cologne, Germany.

In 2014, Irakli founded a structural engineering company Workshop N4 where he held the position of director. In 2019, he became a CEO and co-founder of an architectural-engineering company teamtwo.

In 2020, Irakli undertook a manager’s training program, Fit for Partnership with Germany. Training center: Export-Akademie Baden-Württemberg Gmbh, Tübingen Germany. The manager training program was funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy of the Federal Republic of Germany. The Deutsche Gesselschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH was general manager and coordinator of the program.

Nowadays, apart from working at teamtwo, Irakli is invested in the Tbilisi Development Fund where he holds the position of the Head of the First Category Specialist, actively undertaking the rehabilitation process of Old Tbilisi.
